It explains how we handle personal data when you visit restobizpro.com, request a pilot, or use the RestoBiz Pro platform. It is written to align with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

What we collect

We collect information you give us directly, and a small amount automatically.

Information you provide

Pilot and contact form submissions: business name, your name, work email, phone/WhatsApp number, city and country, number of outlets, business type, business registration or license number, tax ID, current POS or system in use, and any message you send us.
Direct correspondence: anything you email or message us, including career applications sent to our contact address.

Information collected automatically

Basic usage analytics (pages visited, general location, device and browser type) through Google Analytics, but only after you accept cookies via the notice on this site. See Cookies & analytics below.

What we do not knowingly collect on this website

We do not collect payment card details through restobizpro.com. Operational data generated by the RestoBiz Pro platform itself (POS transactions, inventory records, staff data) is governed by the pilot or customer agreement with each business we serve, not by this website policy.

How we use it

To respond to pilot and contact requests, and set up and support a pilot or account.
To send you information you've asked for about RestoBiz Pro.
To understand how visitors use our site and improve it, where you've consented to analytics cookies.
To meet our legal, tax, and regulatory obligations as an Indian private limited company.

We process your data on the basis of your consent (for pilot requests, contact forms, and analytics) and, once you're a customer, to perform our contract with you.

Cookies & analytics

restobizpro.com uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage. This script does not load until you accept our cookie notice; if you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google from your visit. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site and reloading the page. We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies.

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:

Service providers who help us run the site and business (for example, cloud hosting, email delivery, and analytics providers), under obligations to protect it.

We keep pilot and contact form data for as long as needed to respond to your request and, if you become a customer, for the duration of our relationship plus the period required by Indian tax and company law. You can ask us to delete your data earlier; see Your rights.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data we hold, including access controls and encrypted transmission. No system is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, as a Data Principal you have the right to:

Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it's processed.
Request correction or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Request erasure of your data, unless we need to keep it for a legal or contractual reason.
Withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it — this doesn't affect processing carried out before withdrawal.
Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.
Register a complaint with us, and if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.

Children's data

restobizpro.com is intended for business use by adults working in or with food businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
